Galpan
Pixel art survival game, in development
You don't control the hen: you tempt her with food.

Galpan is a pixel art survival game. The hen always goes for the best food she can see, so you don't move her: you throw seeds, corn, bread or a worm and she decides. Meanwhile she has to eat and escape whatever is stalking her in the Forest, the Coop and the City.
Survival with a hen
Food is the steering wheel
Tap a food, then tap the ground to throw it. The hen goes for it, and that is how you lead her where you want.
Hunger counts too
If she doesn't eat, the run is over. The food in your sacks doesn't refill; bubbles that show up on the map top it up if you reach them.
Every map has its own danger
The cat prowls all three maps. In the Forest a fox freezes while the hen looks at it; in the Coop, other hens steal your food; in the City, cars and bikes.
Hold out as long as you can
Runs have no end: the pressure rises in stages and each map keeps your best time.
Three maps

Forest
Paths between trees and a fox that creeps closer while the hen is not looking at it.

Coop
Straw, sheds and rival hens competing for your food.

City
Sidewalks, a road, and cars and bikes that never brake.
